MAMD v.3

AQCLab has participated in the development of the new version 3.0 of the MAMD model (Alarcos Data Improvement Model), in collaboration with the Alarcos research group and DQTeam. This is a model that integrates the processes of data management, data quality management and data governance in a joint and coordinated way, so that any type of organization can evaluate and improve the capacity of its data related processes.

This model allows organizations not only to perform technological management of data infrastructures, but also to ensure that the design, management and exploitation of data is done in accordance with their organizational strategies (which implies data governance), and that the data used is suitable for the intended use (which implies data quality management).

The model is composed of a total of 20 processes grouped into 5 maturity levels, and based on it, companies can certify the maturity of their processes related to data quality, management and governance according to the scheme of the ISO/IEC 33000 family of standards. In addition, MAMD is also aligned with data quality evaluations based on ISO/IEC 25000, so that organizations that follow the model are in a position to obtain a certificate of data quality in their repositories.

You can request to download the model (in Spanish) though the form on the MAMD website.
